Specialisms

Carrying something that has never felt safe to put down.

The people I work with are often holding a great deal. My specialist areas reflect the depth and complexity of that experience.

Trauma and PTSD

Childhood sexual abuse, domestic violence and complex PTSD.

Sexual violence and rape

Including historic and recent assault, working with both heterosexual and LGBTQ+ survivors.

Perinatal mental health

Birth trauma, miscarriage, stillbirth, antenatal and postnatal depression.

Infertility and pregnancy loss

Supporting women and their partners through the emotional impact of infertility, failed fertility treatment and pregnancy loss.

Sexual and relationship difficulties

Intimacy, desire and the difficulties that arise between people.

LGBTQ+ inclusive and informed therapy

A space where your identity is held, never treated as a problem to be solved.

Identity and belonging

For those who have felt unseen, marginalised or unheard.

Interpersonal difficulties and relational patterns

The patterns that repeat, the ways we connect and disconnect.

Neurodivergence

Autism, ADHD, dyslexia and dyspraxia.

My approach

I work integratively, drawing on Gestalt and psychodynamic approaches tailored to your individual needs, incorporating cognitive behavioural techniques where appropriate.

At the heart of my work is the therapeutic relationship. I pay close attention to what happens between us, using that relational experience as a primary instrument of change alongside an understanding of attachment, early relational patterns and the ways we learn to protect ourselves.
