I believe in the therapeutic power of healing and change. I have lived it.

You are the expert of your own life. I am here to help you navigate the map.
For me, sitting alongside someone at a significant moment in their life has always felt like a privilege. I came to psychotherapy through midwifery — two very different roles that share something essential: being present with someone when it matters most, and trusting that they have what they need to find their way through.
I want to be clear about how I work. I am not coming to you as an expert with answers.
I work integratively, drawing on Gestalt and psychodynamic approaches, tailored to you and your needs. At the heart of my work is relationship — the one you have had with significant others throughout your life, and the one we build together in the room.
I pay close attention to what happens between us. How you relate to me, and how I find myself responding to you, tells us something important about how you move through the world. That information is not incidental — it is the work.
What happens between us is real. I will not be a blank screen or a distant professional. I will be a person, in relationship with you, who takes that relationship seriously. I work at your pace, with your agenda. Nothing will be forced or rushed. You will always be in the lead.
Difference and diversity
I am committed to working with difference and diversity in all its forms. I am here for those who have felt unseen, marginalised or oppressed — whatever the reason.
I use ongoing supervision and personal reflection to understand and own my positioning in the world. I am a heterosexual cisgender woman and I name that honestly. The differences between us matter, and I take them seriously.
What I can offer is a space where your identity and experience are genuinely held, and where nothing about who you are will be treated as a problem to be solved.
