Getting started.
Taking the first step towards therapy can feel daunting. I want to make it as straightforward as possible.
Get in touch
Email, phone or WhatsApp me. I will respond within two working days.
Free consultation
A free 20 minute call or meeting to tell me a little about what has brought you to therapy and ask any questions. A chance for us both to sense whether we might work well together. There is no obligation to proceed.
First session
If we decide to go ahead, we will arrange a first session and go from there.
Sessions
Sessions are 50 minutes, weekly. I work online via Microsoft Teams, and in person at The Natural Health Centre, 86 The Green, Kings Norton, B38 8RS.
For online sessions, please ensure you are in a private, comfortable space where you will not be interrupted. For in-person sessions, the practice is easily accessible from Kings Norton village and has parking nearby.
I currently offer sessions on Mondays and Fridays during daytime hours. If you are unsure whether my availability suits yours, please mention this when you get in touch.
Each session is yours. There is no fixed agenda, no homework, no worksheet to complete. We follow what feels most alive and important to you on that day.
I will not sit in silence waiting for you to perform. I will be present, engaged and honest. Sometimes I will ask questions. Sometimes I will name what I notice — in what you say, in how you say it, in what happens between us. Sometimes we will sit with something difficult without rushing to fix it.
The work unfolds at your pace. Some sessions will feel significant. Others will feel quieter. Both matter.
I work with complex and challenging material. I will not flinch or rush to reassure. I allow space for the painfully unspeakable to be spoken.
Fees
Sessions are £50, payable by bank transfer within 24 hours of each session.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give at least 48 working hours notice. Cancellations made with less than 48 working hours notice are charged at the full session fee. I apply this policy consistently and with compassion.
